that was a very nice pic but hove to again???? a fun adventure is to sail up thru the cut east of hankins house to lyc. enough water if you favor the east side. good house watching.

Peter, if he starts sailing, he’ll need to change his blog’s name! Since early childhood, I always thought that was the coolest thing, a house on a small island that we would be racing around on Saturdays.

Even though I may occasionally sail briskly to get somewhere, I revert to my usual slow sailing state after arrival.
I’ve done the Lavalette passage before in Caprice, my first cruising boat. She also had tanbark sails and I remember how cool it was the see the reflections in the windows 10′ away.
